Halloween 2008

The mothers from Faith Montessori decided to organise a Halloween party for kids with whole family involved. Everyone (yes, including parents) has to dress up for the party. It was going to be a potluck session. Josh has decided to dress up as Naruto, a Japanese anime character. It took lots of research on internet and sleepless nights to come up with his costume on a below $20 budget. (most websites selling costumes for $50 at least.) Knitted handgloves and headband to complete his look. Yan Sze has decided to be a cowboy as he can simply wear his striped shirt and jeans. With a cowboy hat, bandana and a sheriff badge, he was all geared up. Hmmm... I can't decide for myself and also for Jordan who was away in Suzhou for 2 months for immersion programme and will be back the night before Halloween party. Been asking her over the phone what she wanted and she said, "whatever!" So decided to dress her up as Mexican since I have a knitted ponch on hand and maracas, so all I needed to do was make her a hat. I decided to dress up as gypsy- just grab whatever in wardrobe that looked like a gypsy outfit, sewn my self a headgear and presto!
