Baked Products

These are some of the baked products that I have done with the kids: brownies, brownie cookies, chocolate cornflakes, sausage rolls, pretzels, cheese bread.

Making Chocolate Cornflakes - Christmas 2006

This was Josh's first attempt at cooking: making chocolate cornflakes for his school's Christmas party. I helped him to melt the chocolate. He measured out the cornflakes, poured them into melted chocolate to coat them. A simple recipe that doesn't involve baking but nice for a party snack.

Making Yankee Doodle Squares - 2006

I bought this cookbook for kids and found many of the recipes easy to follow. A few favourites: chocolate brownies, yankee doodle squares, chocolate coated cornflakes. At 9 years old, Jordan has become quite good at following the step by step instructions in whipping out her favourite yankee doodle squares.

Jordan's Artwork @9 years old, 2006

When Jordan was in Pri 3, she was asked to do a black and white drawing of a building. She chose Taj Mahal. For a coloured drawing on building, she did Saint Basil's Cathedral. She also did a collage work on her father and submitted it in 2007 to Little Red Dot, a student's news publication. It was published on March 20.

During June, 2006 she attended classes at Rus Studio, Toa Payoh. She did artwork using various media: acrylic, watercolour, oilpaint.

Jordan's Artwork @8 years old, 2005

Since young, Jordan loves to draw and uses her pictures to tell stories. At 8 years old, she attended art class at Gradsign, Bukit Batok every Fri evening. The following drawings are a series on cartoon drawing and caricature.
